Ohm Obama - to visit Kedarapalayam soon!
Two rival politicians in Kedarapalayam make improbable promises. Vying in making such promises, one of the candidates mentions Obama’s support for them in the coming elections. Obama is expected to visit Kedarapalayam to campaign for elections and also take part in the temple festival.
Shruthika Foundation’s forthcoming film, Om Obama, is in its final stages of post production. The movie is directed by Janaki Viswanathan. Om Obama is a seriously funny film on Kedarapalayam, a village that is looking forward to host Obama. The story unravels before a bemused American journalist who arrives in the village to document Kedarapalayam’s obsession with the American President Barack Obama.
Om Obama is an unconventional film that has various sub-plots including romance, grassroots politics, panchayat elections and others. The news about Obama’s arrival spreads like fire and the entire village awaits the arrival of Barack Obama. Hearing this, the American journalist and her crew are pole axed by the ‘breaking news’. The villagers hold high hopes that Obama would help in the economic transformation of the village. Every sub-plot in the film has an issue and the only solution to every issue is Obama’s arrival.
So hop on to this journey as part of the entourage of Obama that takes you all the way to Kedarapalayam…. the most destined place!
